Ski mountaineering, on the other hand, is ideal for those who, in addition to the descent, love the feeling of fatigue, that of the ascent with sealskins. This sport will allow you to reach places characterised by enchanting landscapes, where all the beauty that surrounds you will make you forget all other thoughts. Those who love walking in the mountains can also opt for snowshoes: there are many trails and paths dedicated to trekking, both in Bormio and in the surrounding areas, you will be spoilt for choice! The Alute area offers a fantastic cross-country skiing track, a sport that can be practised at a competitive level, and at the same time is an excellent idea as a first approach to skiing, to "get familiar" with snow. Fat bike is a novelty in recent years, which cycling enthusiasts are literally crazy about! Would you like to ride the snowy trails on two wheels, even in winter? Last but not least, we cannot forget the Palaghiaccio (ice rink). Over the years, the facility has hosted numerous short track competitions.
